Marconi Contest 2005

DR 2 X
in JO4Øql on 144.055 MHz

This was again a nice finish of the season. Weather was rather good, it was cold but we were lucky and had no rain during antenna setup. Having enough helping hands we managed to get up the 8x6ele DJ9BV.  Since introducing this antenna in 2001 to our setup it is performing very well, and also this time.
Contest started very nicely. The QSOs numbers were rising quickly, but in no way comparible with the last two contests in SSB.....   Anyway for our crew who is not really active in CW - only during Marconi Contest - we are proud to handle the QSO-rates. Comparing the results with last years they are nearly identical. Also very interesting when comparing the last four years: F6FHP in IN94 is always our ODX in November!

Thanks to everyone getting into contact with us this year! We hope to get you into our log many more time during the comming seasons.
